Second Set-Up of Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System For 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:

I have an existing Air Force One braking system flat tow setup on our 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I need to transfer to our new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The new vehicle has the adaptive cruise control option. We currently have the Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 All-Terrain non-binding tow bar which we will use on the new installation. In addition to the Air Force One re-install kit, can you advise what the best option for our base plate would be and if there is anything else we would need for the transition? Thanks! For your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the braking system you are needing is the Demco SBS Second Vehicle Kit for Air Force One Supplemental Braking System, # SM99209. This includes everything needed to tow your new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee without having to install an entirely new Demco SBS Air Force One supplemental braking system.

I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit, # RM-521440-5 for use with your Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 Tow Bar, # RM-422. Please note the linked installation video below.

You will also need the wiring solution so your Jeep's indicator lights work with the motorhomes. I suggest the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, # RM-154.
