Troubleshooting Error Message with Wiring Diode Kit Installed on 2021 Jeep Gladiator with LED Lights
Question:
I have installed this harness on a 2021 Jeep Gladiator with LED lights. The Jeep operation of the lights works well, except I now have a Error message on the Jeep saying directional are not working, but they are. I do not have a tow vehicle available to try the other side at this time. Is it possible that the diodes are in reversed?

There are 2 possible reasons why your install of the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 is causing an error to pop up on your 2021 Jeep Gladiator; the first is that something was installed incorrectly, and the second is that you have the ParkSense on your Gladiator and you need special diodes.
I'm attaching an installation video we did of this same wiring kit on a 2021 Gladiator for you to check out. If you jump to about the 7:00 minute mark you'll see how we make our connections with the wiring and diodes and you can check that against what you have. Be sure you are using a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 so that you know you are splicing into the correct wires.
As vehicles get more and more electrically complicated with computers our wiring manufacturers need to keep up. If you have the ParkSense feature on your Gladiator then that means the normal diodes won't be sufficient and you need to use the Smart Diodes # RO54FR instead. Since you said you have the LED lights I'm thinking this is most likely the issue but you'll want to double check.
