Roadmaster Crossbar Style Base Plates Product Comparison With Roadmaster Direct Connect Base Plates
Question:
I recently traded in my 2007 Hummer H3 for a 2021 Grand Cherokee. I had purchased the 2505-1 base plate for the Hummer and then purchased the crossbar for it. I am using the Blackhawk 2 All Terrain towbar. What is the best setup the 521440-4 or the 521440-5 for my 2021 Grand Cherokee? Is one better than the other. Is one better looking than the other without trading off safety? And also do you take any trade in on used equipment like a used 2505-1? Thanks for your time

The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # RM-521440-5 and Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # RM-521440-4 are the same base plate but with different attachment arms. Since you're using a Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 10K Item # RM-422 you can use either base plate with no adapters needed.
