Installing Redline 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent on 3/4 Inch Thick Trailer Wall

Will this fit into a 3/4inch thick trailer wall without modification?

The vent tube on the Redline 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent # HMAV2-AVT2 has a depth of 1-1/2 inches. The exterior half-moon piece does have a depth of about a 1/2 inch to eliminate some of the tube protrusion but on a 3/4 inch thick wall you likely will need to trim just a bit off the tube to allow the exterior piece to install flush with the trailer wall.
Most likely you will need to trim just a 1/4 or less off the tube but the best method will simply be to mount the unit through the hole on your trailer to see exactly how much needs to be cut.
