Adapter for 7-Pole Round on Semi to 7-Way Flat Blade Style Trailer Connector

Question:

That adaptor will not work by itself. Being the fact that the truck has separate brake lamp and direction feeds. I will need a 3 to 2 converter as well. Did my research after e-mailing you. Thanks for your help.

It sounds like you are trying to go from a 7-pole to a 7-blade trailer connector. If the 7-pole is on the vehicle and the 7-blade is on the trailer then you can use the Pollak Trailer Connector Adapter part # HM47425.

Correct, the Pollak Trailer Connector Adapter part # PK12-724 is designed for a trailer side connector in which the stop and turn signals are already combined. If your stop and turn signals are not already combined then you would first want to install the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter part # RM-732 before the trailer connector. If this is the route you were to take then I recommend just installing the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole part # PK12-707E after the converter instead of the Pollak Trailer Connector Adapter part # PK12-724.
