Correct Trailer Hitch for Bike Rack on a 2016 Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid
Question:
Which hitch is for Toyota RAV4 hybrid XLE 2016? We need it for a 3 bike holder. I read a few reviews about Curt #13149 that does not fit hybrid XLE.

The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2016 Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98864. This is also the best trailer hitch you can use on your RAV4 for a bike rack because the receiver tube is not tucked too far back under the bumper which means the list of compatible bike carriers is much greater. The etrailer Trailer Hitch is a custom fit so no drilling is required. I have attached an install video, and review that confirms fit on the XLE Hybrid as well.
If you don't already have a bike rack, I recommend the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Platform Rack part # KU24FR because it is lightweight (only 51 lbs) and the center section is open so you can just walk right into the carrier to load your bikes which makes things much easier.
