Can Individual Wires From Deka Jacketed 7-Wire Be Used to Re-Wire Trailer
Question:
I am looking to rewire my trailer, and it looks like by the foot this wire is cheaper than if I were to buy all the individual gauges I need separately. I intend to remove the black jacket and use the wires by themselves. I also like that they are color coded. Would you recommend this, or would you recommend some other individual wires for rewiring the entire trailer?

There's no reason at all that you couldn't use the Deka Jacketed 7-Wire # DW04914-1 to re-wire your trailer like you described. The individual wires inside the jacket are 10 and 12 gauge wire which is plenty large enough to span the length of a trailer and the jacket can easily be cut and taken off so you can separate all the wires.
My best recommendation in your particular case is to simply go with the most cost-effective option. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
