Re-Wiring Trailer for Tail Lights and Electric Brakes
Question:
I need to rewire my whole trailer all new everything what is a good quality setup the old wiring is aweful and needs fixed its has trailer brakes and side maker lights plus i want to add Reverse lights. The more detailed the info and layout i can do it myself please help i am over this crap wiring ....

To completely rewire your trailer I recommend using the Trailer Wiring Kit # HS381-9000. This includes a 7-Way connector, a junction box to provide you with a clean setup, and all the necessary hardware. You will then just need additional 16 gauge wiring # 16-4B-1 for the light circuits and 10 gauge wiring # 10-1-1 for the brake and 12V power wires, both of which are sold by the foot.
I have attached a standard trailer wiring diagram that you can use for reference. I have also attached a link that will take you to our available selection of trailer backup lights that you can look through if needed.
