Trailer Hub Replacement for Dexter Hub 8-247
Question:
I have a one year old trailer with these drums. Im concerned that when Im traveling that a bearing failure might find me without the right parts for a local mechanic to fix quickly. Having both the drum and the bearings seems like something to have on hand with the trailer. Based on the photo attached can you determine what set I need from you.

For an exact hub replacement that matches what you sent in a picture of you'd want the part # 84546UC3-EZ. The bearings this takes are # L44649 and # L68149.
Since this is for an emergency scenario where you would be on the side of the road the hub replacement would be the way go instead of trying do a bearing swap which would require reinstalling a seal and greasing the hub.
Ideal scenario is that you'd have the hub packed with grease and ready to go in case of emergency. For grease the best option is the LMX # L11390.
