Bike Rack Compatible with A-Frame on a 2019 Rockwood Mini

Question:

I bought a rockwood mini last august and we had the bike rack installed, when we went to camper world they had a couple of them on trailers for display with the racks on them but they were not completely set up with the bike holders. Our dealer installed it and this is the first time trying to use it. We will be able to put one bike on it ,but the one closest to the trailer the is no way to get a bike on it because the one rod is only about 2inch from the windshield of the trailer. Do they make a shorter back or the piece with the angle tilting back toward the trailer. The one that came with the unit we bought goes back toward the trailer appox.10. I even looked at it turning it around but then it is to close to the tail of the truck. The new minis have the windshield at the top of the trailer and the older trailers slopped the other way. All the pictures are of the older style trailers. If the angle is half the 10inch it would possibly work. Who can I contact to try to fix what I have to work.....the unit I am talking about is the Lippert , jack-it 2 real solid unit just need it to work for my trailer.

The Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers # LC429756 unfortunately is not designed to be used in any other way and there aren't any other adapters for it except for the Bump-It Hitch Receiver Adapter for Jack-It 2 Bike Rack # LC723359 to allow the use of a normal trailer hitch receiver that is either 1-1/4 inches or 2 inches. That is designed for vehicle use and not RV use, so it may be wise to sell your current rack and get something that will work with your trailer.

A better option for your bike rack may be to use the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs # CC-275. This will give you far better positioning options than the Jack-It bike rack.
