Choosing Between the Roof Rack Mount and Direct Mount Thule HideAway for a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter

I am looking at purchasing the 10foot Thule hideaway awning. I am trying to figure out the best mounting options. Can you tell me the distance between the two on mounting channels on this awning? Would the Rhino-Rack Foxwing and Sunseeker Awning Mounting Bracket for Pioneer Platform Rack Item # RR43100 fit the Thule? Thanks

In order to install a Thule HideAway Awning on your 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 you will need to use the roof rack mount option, part # TH490010 along with a roof rack like the Thule Evo ProBar System part # TH713700, part # TH460R, and part # THKIT3101 if you have factory roof tracks or the Thule Evo ProBar System part # TH713700, part # TH460R, and part # THKIT3032 if you have the factory fixed mounting points.
The reason you must use the roof rack mount option and not the direct mount option, part # TH490011 is because this option requires a vehicle specific adapter which is not available for your Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The distance between the mounting points will be dependent on this vehicle specific adapter therefore I don't have any measurements for you because they are not available.
Unfortunately, I would not be able to confirm compatibility with a Pioneer Platform Rack.
