Longer Bolt Kit Recommendation for Inno Boardlocker Carrier to Fit 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Crossbars

My Inno Boardlocker surf racks are not fitting on my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. It appears as if they are too long, and they cannot fit around the thick part of the crossbars. Is there any way to adjust this? Or can I order longer screws?

Inno does offer a longer bolt kit part # INISF711 for use with the Inno Boardlocker part # INA744 you referenced which is designed for attaching to taller crossbars like what it seems like you have.
