Tips for Installing Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch Kit for Large Enclosed Trailers # PLR658-002
Question:
I bought two of these and the pipe separate. No instructions came. I am confused because the cut sheet in the QandA section shows two different part numbers, one for right and left. If I am welding it up, what is the difference? Also, could you send me a larger cut sheet. I assume I weld the locking cam into the pipe and the slip or keeper rings. Is that correct?

Mock up the install of the # PLR658-002 and it'll become obvious which way to orientate the system. Trying to match the LH and the RH won't be as helpful as mocking everything up and test fitting it before installing it. Basically you'll weld the pipe to the handle and the keepers like you mentioned and then bolt on everything else to the door. There aren't install instructions available for this.
