How Does the Pipe Attach to the Cam Lock Assembly on Polar 658-002?

Question:

I ordered the plr658-002 kit and it arrived on schedule, but without instructions. It seemed fairly self explanatory, other than a couple of items. Which size pipe do I need? Which schedule? The video says 1inch schedule 40 but the written instructions on the website say 1 5/16. I would say the larger diameter would work better after looking the kit over, but Im not sure about schedule. Where do the two small rings go? Also, do I weld the pipe to the cam ends to attach? Thanks!

According to the manufacturer the pipe is the 1 inch schedule 40 pipe which means the inner diameter is 1 inch and the outer diameter is 1-5/16" so the attached video and the video are correct. I have also attached a photo from the manufacturer to show you the locations of the Anti-Rack Ring you requested. They will be located just under the top bearing bracket and just above the bottom bearing bracket. You will weld these rings to the pipe as well as the cams at each end and the handle. The brackets will keep the assembly in place along with the hasp.
