How to Add Second 7-Way to Truck For Bumper Pull Towing and Gooseneck/5th Wheel Towing
Question:
i have a 1996 f350 with the 7.3 powerstroke and the previous owner removed the bumper connector and installed one towards the front of the bed for the gooseneck trailer, and the wiring harness for it plugs into two different connectors that look like the trailer brake wiring also. is there anyway to splice the connectors to have two trailer plug connectors? or are the two connectors available both round, one has three terminals and the other has four. any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Yes, we have kits designed exactly for this as it's a pretty common request. What you want is the part # 41157. This installs inline with the current 7-way you have and gives you a second one you can install where needed.
