Does 2018 Dodge Durango Need to be Programmed After Installing Tekonsha TK22113 Wiring
Question:
Once I install this harness in my 2018 Durango that came with no trailer package, will I need to have the dealership turn on or change the programming to use it?

The Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # TK22113 actually either tees in behind the tail lights or splices into other wiring on your 2018 Dodge Durango so you won't have to take your vehicle to the dealer to have anything reprogrammed!
The brake controller adapter that comes with this kit is directly compatible with Tekonsha brake controllers. If you don't already have one I highly recommend going with the Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is the easiest brake controller of theirs to use due to the LCD screen that takes codes out of the equation during operation. It also features storable settings for various trailers.
Attached are review videos for both the Tekonsha wiring that you referenced and the Prodigy P3 for you to check out.
