Connecting Brake Controller to 12 Volt Power

Where do I connect power for electric brake adapter

There were no specifics provided in regards to vehicle, brake controller, wiring or wiring adapter so I'll have to be very general. Unless you have a factory 7-way and tow package you will need to first install a 4-way, which is specific to your vehicle, and then the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7.
In regards to the power wire, as you can see in the accompanying diagram it is the black wire from the controller (or the controller's harness) which will be the black wire. You will need to run this to a circuit breaker and then to the positive post of the battery.
