Installation of Insulated 7-Way Trailer Connector for Cold Climate Function

Question:

Hello, I purchased a Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake from you guys a few years back which uses a standard Bargman 7 Way end. I am using it in cold weather and the cord is not at all flexible in cold temps, so I am looking at splicing it out with a blue Bargman 7 Way Molded Trailer end that is made for cold weather. I see you have a few of these, but they have different color coding. My question is which of the cold weather Bargman end will have the same color coding for the wires as the Prodigy? Thanks for the help!

The Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Trailer Brake Controller doesn't tell us the color coding but does show the corresponding function locations. Based on this, you will use the Bargman 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 6' Heavy Duty Insulated Cable - Trailer End # 54006-057 which will use the following colors for function:

Black: 12V Power
White: Ground
Red: Left Turn/Stop
Blue: Brake controller output (not needed for this application)
Brown: Right Turn/Stop
Green: Running Light/Tail Light
Yellow: Reverse Lights

I've also added a photo with colors to show you the traditional colors, but you will need to confirm functions to ensure correct fit as there are two common wiring color options.
