Easiest Front Hitch Installation on 2014 Ford F-150
Question:
Between the Curt front hitch c31068 and the Draw Tite front hitch 65061 is one easier to install than the other? They kind of look the same. 4WD 2014 F-150. I'm looking at using a hitch-mount plow as the driveway at our new home is very long.

Curt front hitch # C31068 and Draw-Tite front hitch # 65061 do indeed look very similar and this is because both are custom-fit products made specifically for your 2014 F-150. Since they both install at the same factory mounting points they will necessarily resemble one another pretty closely. They also share identical weight ratings.
This design similarity also means that the installation processes will be pretty much the same. Both hitches will need you to remove the lower front air dam. Since both hitches use factory mounting holes there is no drilling needed. I linked an installation video for USA-made Curt hitch # C31068 but it will also fairly represent the process for installing the Draw-Tite # 65061.
Since you're thinking about getting a hitch-mount snow plow such as the Detail K2 Avalanche # K2AVAL8219 I strongly recommend that you add front suspension support. A plow like this will have substantial weight - the Avalanche model weighs 265-bs - and since this plow weight is well forward of the front axle the front end can tend to sag.
The best product for your application is the Timbren kit # TFF150F. This no-drill kit features natural rubber jounce springs that bolt on and give you load support when you need it. The jounce springs in this kit are rated appropriately for use with snow plows. This Timbren kit's two progressive-resistance springs also help reduce body roll when swerving and turning corners and they work independently of one another. I linked an article concerning the Timbren springs that explains their design and operation.
