Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1985 GMC C10 Short Bed 2WD

Hi, Will this hitch fit on a 1985 C10 shortbed 2WD? It has no rear bumper and has the 3/4 ton rear suspension and axle installed. Thanks

The Class V Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41947 is compatible with a 1985 GMC C/K Series Pickup with either the 8' bed and standard or step bumper, or a cab and chassis model.
Since you have a short bed on your C10 I recommend going with the Class IV Curt # C14082 which fits the 6' bed that utilizes a standard or step bumper. This is a custom fit that doesn't require drilling and fits as long as your frame is 34" outside to outside.
If you used to have the standard or step bumper on your C10 this will still fit unless some modification was done to the frame or fascia when the bumper was removed. If the 3/4 ton rear suspension and axle is aftermarket then you will just need to determine if it changed anything to note if this hitch will fit or not.
