Best Way To Carry Two Kayaks on a 2015 Jeep Cherokee with Raised Side Rails

Purchasing 2 12foot kayaks and future luggage carrier not to be used at the same time I like the value of the dual carrier-what all do we need to safely carry these? I like the RR aero bars too. Car has factory roof rails. Thanks

The Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs part # S512-S512X is one of my favorite kayak carriers on the market. The reason for this as you mentioned is that it will save a ton of space on the roof. This saved space could then be used for other accessories such as a bike rack like the Rhino-Rack Hybrid Roof Bike Rack part # RRRBC050. The kayak carrier also has a folding upright so you don't need to remove it each time if you had any overhead clearance issues like a garage. It comes with all of the tie-downs needed to secure both kayaks.

In order to use this kayak carrier on your 2015 Jeep Cherokee with raised side rails all you would need is a set of crossbars. The best option we have for this is the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System part # RRVA126B-2 and part # RRSX100. These aero shaped crossbars are going to cut down on wind noise and they will help to retain MPG's when compared to standard crossbars. There are also locks included at no extra charge for security.

I really like Rhino-Rack products because they have the same level of quality as more well known brands such as Yakima and Thule but do not carry the extra cost associated with these more well known brands. This will give you everything you need to hit the road and enjoy the water.
