Wider Fender Recommendation for Fitting Trailer with Longer Axle
Question:
I am replacing my 2,400Lb axel on my boat trailer with a 3500lb axel I found an axel that has the 70inch spring centers that I need but is 1.5 inches longer than the existing axel 3/4foot longer on each end. My existing fenders will need to be replaced since the 3/4foot increase on each side would result in rubbing issues on the existing Fulton 008583 fenders, one is badly damaged and needs replacing anyway currently I have two Fulton 008583 fenders with steps for my 13foot tires pic below I was initially thinking of going to the 14inch tire Fulton fender that would give me an extra inch of width but the bracket has 30inch centers verses my existing 28inch pic below next I was thinking of going with a 14inch Fulton without the end steps but dont know how I could mount them so I am asking you experts for some advice? Thank you

Most likely you'd have to get a bit creative with L-brackets like part # PF775-BKT-2 to install the Fulton Fenders part # F008564 that you referenced. It's hard to say exactly how you would do it, but the L-brackets should be able to fit on the current angled brackets I see in the picture you submitted.
