Hub and Drum Assembly with 8 on 6-1/2 Bolt Pattern for Dexter 10,000 Pound Trailer Axle  

Question:

number on hub is 8-427 also says 4.88 pilot hole only my trailer is only 2 years old and I know the new ones come with a 4.77 pilot hole configuration. I need the hub with the 4.88 to match my wheels and the rest of my hubs

The Dexter 8-427 hub is no longer available. Even looking through Dexter's site the only references to it are replacement bearings. You can use a wheel with a larger pilot hole as long as the wheel attaches to the hub using lug nuts and not bolts. Hub and drum assembly # 8-430-5UC3 uses lug nuts to secure the wheel to the hub and uses inner bearing 387A and outer bearing 25580.
