Does Trailer Leaf Spring Shackle Strap Need to be at A Slight Angle

Question:

Dear Sir, In many trailer suspension usually there will be a small angle with respect to chassis, here from one of the cataloger I found 2 types of design in suspension, can you please explain how to calculate the angle in both the cases for good operating conditions. Thanks in advance.

Your picture didn't make it through but it sounds like you are asking about the angle of the shackle strap on trailer leaf suspension. You want leaf spring shackles to be at a slight angle as that prevents the springs from flipping around to the other side of the equalizer over uneven terrain but also let's the spring stretch as it compresses. Typically this is achieved by having the leaf spring just slightly shorter that where it would mount to the hangers/equalizer.

I attached a picture that shows what the angle is typically like.
