Reducer Sleeve Compatible with 2-1/2 Inch Hitch Receiver and Fastway Self-Locking Ball Mount
Question:
I bought this ball mount about a year ago and used it on a GMC Yukon that had a 2inch receiver. I now have a 2019 GMC Sierra with a 2 1/2inch receiver. Can this ball mount be used on the new truck with a 2 1/2inch to 2inch adapter?

The Fastway Self-Locking, Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Stainless Balls - 2" Hitch - 6" Drop, 7" Rise # DTALBM6600-2S can be used with certain adapters and not others. The single hole sleeve reducers like # 45405 or # 325-GH-007 will not work because the ball mount won't have the pins long enough to secure to the receiver itself after connecting to the sleeve reducer.
You will want the Adapter Sleeve for Fastway and Diversi-Tech 2" Locking Ball Mounts to 2-1/2" Receivers # DTADP25-SS to use a standard hitch pin or locking hitch pin. If you want that included then you can use # DTADP35.
