Im thinking of ordering a Kats block heater for my 2012 Kia Sorento 2.4L 4 cylinder. Do you have a diagram of where it is installed on this engine? Thank you!

The correct block heater for your 2012 Kia Sorento with the 2.4L engine is the Kat's Heaters part # KH11812. According to Kat's the cartridge will install in the second rear right cavity on the engine block ("2nd RR" position on attached diagram), which will be towards the passenger side back corner when you face the engine.

Kat's does recommend coating the cartridge with NSCG silicone grease G-624 before inserting the cartridge heaters like the #KH11813 into the block.

I checked with Kat's and they say that the cartridge heater will install in the front left location of the block. If you check out the chart I attached you can see where you will see where that it is.
