On the Atwood Electric Motor for R.V. Landing Gear, one set of red and black wires on the switch will be wired to the vehicle battery. The red wire should be wired with an inline fuse holder to the 12-volt positive battery terminal and the black wire is wired to the negative battery post or a clean, paint and corrosion free chassis ground.
The second set of red and black wires on the switch will attach to the motor leads. The red wire goes to the red motor lead and the black wire goes to the yellow motor lead.
I would recommend using a circuit tester, part # PTW2993, and test the wires on your current switch to determine which red and black wires are for the battery. The other remaining red and black wires on your switch would be for the motor.
