Is Drilling Required to Install Curt Trailer Hitch # C13171 on 2018 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
I am interesting in your product but wanted to know if I have to drill holes into the existing unibody or frame to mount this?

Helpful Expert Reply:
You absolutely do not have to drill, cut, or otherwise make any modifications to the unibody or frame frame of your 2018 Jeep Cherokee when installing the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # C13171. This is because the hitch will use existing holes in the frame for mounting.
The only bit of modification you may need to do on the vehicle is loosen or remove the underbody panel/fascia during installation.
I have attached an installation video on the 2018 Jeep Cherokee so you can see exactly what the process entails.
