Factory Location for Brake Controller Wiring Harness Install on 1996 Ford F-250 or F-350 Models

Question and Answer 107270 showed the location for a 1999. Where is the factory trailer connector for a 96?

For a 1996 Ford F-250 or F-350 the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3035-P will be under the steering column and toward the passenger side. There will be a gray plug located either next to other wiring or back closer to the firewall. A customer even informed me his was in front of the heater box below the ashtray. I've attached a couple videos to assist even though they aren't specifically 1996 models as we don't have that model year on video.
