Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Not Working After Changing Truck Lights to LED

Trailer plug not working I switched all the light bulbs over in my truck to LED changed out the Flasher but now my trailer lights do not work I do not have power to my trailer plug

It sounds like all you changed was the bulbs. If this is the case, the wiring may require more of an amperage draw for your trailer lights. It sounds like you need to increase the power draw to get those functions, so I recommend using a LED Light Bulb Load-Resistor Kit # DI34ZR. This will increase the draw on the wires to bring them back to the normal bulb amperage to restore your trailer light functions. This would need to be added before the converter box if using a T-style trailer harness. I've attached a photo to help with the installation.
Since you don't have power at your plug, you can rule out a better ground connection needed on the trailer which is another common issue. However if the issue remains after restoring power to your connection, you will want to make sure that trailer ground connection is bare metal to metal and free of corrosion and debris.
