Recommended 4-Way Flat Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2018 Honda Pilot Towing a Small Trailer
Question:
Looking to tow a small trailer with my 2018 Honda Pilot but I am not sure which wiring to get for the lights. If you could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

The wiring that I recommend for you to tow a small trailer with your 2018 Honda Pilot is the Tekonsha T-One # 118760 because it includes a grommet for clean, easy mounting under your Pilot and how reliable we have found the Tekonsha wiring to be.
To mount this permanently outside your Pilot you need the Tow Ready Bracket # 18144. If you already have a trailer hitch, then you can use the No-Drill Bracket # 18140 or the Easy Mount Bracket # C58001 (for a 2" receiver) to secure the 4-Way Flat connector.
If you don't already have a trailer hitch, then I recommend the etrailer # e98840 which gives you a Class III trailer hitch with a 2" receiver. This trailer hitch is also compatible with 18" or smaller spare tires.
To complete your towing setup you also need a ball mount kit. I recommend either the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 or the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10048B which give you multiple hitch balls and height differences to fit your towing application. I do recommend using a locking pin like the etrailer.com # e98882 to lock your ball mount and deter theft.
I have attached a helpful ball mount article you can reference as well as some review videos and installation instructions for the other towing products on this page.
