Is there a Brake Controller Port Under the Dash of a 2008 Holiday Rambler Vacationer RV
Question:
I have a white plug with 12 holes and 7 white wires attached, could this be the plug for the brake controller... I have a 2008 Vacationer XL 340 cummins diesel. thankyou.......

I did some research but could not find anything on the plug you have found. What you can do is test the plug with a circuit tester like # 40376 to see what functions the wires carry. You will be able to find a 12 volt power wire and a wire that shows a signal only when the brake pedal is pressed if the plug is for a brake controller.
Chances are that if there are 7 wires coming from it, it is not for a brake controller. I recommend contacting a Holiday Rambler dealer and/or consulting the owners manual to determine if there is a plug for a brake controller. If there is no plug available or tow package type of wiring, you will need to hardwire in a brake controller by either using an # ETBC7 kit, and another 20 feet of # 10-2-1 wire, or, if it has a 7-Way already, 40 feet of # 10-2-1 wire and a 30 amp circuit breaker, # PK54530.
