How to Install Head Unit of Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System to Shank

I just purchased Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2inch Hitch - 10inch Rise/6inch - 600 to 1,600 lbs TW. Can you use the bottom hole on the shank to mount the hitch?

When installing the head unit of your Equal-i-zer weight distribution system such as # EQ37101ET to your Equal-i-zer shank # EQ90-02-4900 you will need to use the bottom two holes to mount the shank.

I have added a cutout of the installation instructions of the Equal-i-zer weight distribution system (which are also linked) that displays this as well as an example photo.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
