Under-Bed 5th Wheel Installation Hardware Needed to Install 5th Wheel Rails in a 2011 Ford F-150

Question:

The last truck I had was a 2003 F150 and I had rail kit RP30035. The new truck 2011 Ford F150 calls for installation kit RP30080. Can I use the rails from my RP30035 kit and get the hardware kit from RP30080? If so do you have a item number for the hardware kit?

Expert Reply:

Yes, you will be able to use the rails from your RP30035 install kit that was in your 2003 Ford F-150 for your 2011 F-150. The bracket kit you will need is the Reese Under-bed Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, # RP58426. This will give you all of the under-bed hardware for installation of the 10 bolt fifth-wheel rails.

If you need the hardware to attach the rails to the under-bed hardware, you will need the Replacement Hardware Kit, # RP58430. With your existing rails this would complete the 5th wheel installation kit for your 2011 Ford F-150.

Be sure to inspect your existing rails closely for damage, and if any is found they should be replaced also.
