Rear Torklift Tie Down Recommendation for 2011 Dodge Ram 3500 for Use with Draw Tite 2.5 inch Hitch
Question:
I have a 2011 Dodge 3500 shortbed with factory bumper and hitch. I need a 2.5” receiver in order to fit the 24”-34” extension which should allow me to tow an approx 3500# bassboat dual axle behind my cabover camper. The Class V Curt, it was identified that it didn’t work with the Torklift tie downs. I’m wondering if that is the same case with this receiver? If this is not the case, I’d sure love some suggestions on how you’d suggest I proceed. Thank you.

Does your truck already have Torklift camper tie downs installed already? If so you'll need to remove the rear tie downs part # TLR3500 that you have already and install the # TLD3109 in it's place so that you can install the Draw Tite hitch part # DT45518.
Torklift is really specific with how their tie downs fit and when you swap out the hitch of the vehicle the rear tie down will have to change as well. With the Draw Tite hitch you'll be able to then use the Titan hitch extender for 2.5 inch hitches part # RP45292 that you were wanting to use.
