You are obviously looking to get some use out of a roof rack system, so I first need to know if you have flush mount factory rails or not. If you do, I recommend the Thule WingBar Roof Rack that consists of # TH711220 for the two 47" WingBar Crossbars, # TH460R for the Rapid Podium Feet, and # THKIT4067 for the Custom Fit Kit. If you do not have the factory flush rails then your best option will be with the Thule WingBar system consisting of # TH711420 for the WingBar Crossbars, # TH710501 for the Evo Clamp Feet, and # TH145175 for the Fit Kit.
Then for your rooftop cargo box, I recommend the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Glossy # TH629706 which is a very popular option for your HR-V due to the look, capacity and integrated features. I've attached a video to review some of these features for you.
For a kayak carrier, I recommend the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier - Folding # S512 for a single kayak or adding the Expansion Arm for Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier # RRS512X to it for a second kayak. This system folds down for better aerodynamics when not in use.
