Tire Pressure and Valve Stem Compatible with Aluminum HWT Series S5 16 Inch Trailer Wheel

Question:

There are many QandA asking if these are 110 psi rated rims with no clear answer to their rating. What is the psi stamped on the backside of the rim? Im specifically looking for a 110 psi rated rim for the 110 psi rated tires Im putting on our 5th wheel. It seems that most rims in this size and 6 lug pattern are stamped 80 psi. Thank you.

I went out to our warehouse and physically looked at the Aluminum HWT Series S5 Trailer Wheel - 16" x 6-1/2" Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 - Black # AM22658HWTB for you. There is no psi rating on the wheel. I reached out to my contact at HWT and they stated the psi will be limited by the valve stem used. So I checked the valve stems and the chrome-plated brass # AM20906 is not compatible due to the washer and nut on the outside. You can use the Americana High Pressure Rubber Snap-In Valve Stem - 1-1/4" Long - Up to 100 psi # AM20907.
