Troubleshooting Super Winch LT2000 With Motor Only Powering One Way Without Direct Power to Motor
Question:
winch only operates one way, however the polarity is switched at the winch connections and operates when powered directly. Can a solenoid fail under current draw? Replaced solenoid box mos. ago and have used only a few times

The Superwinch LT2000 ATV Winch you have is needing a relay according to my tech contact at Superwinch. He said you will want the Bulldog Winch Replacement Relay - 60/80A - 14V DC, 5-prong plug - 2K/3K Powersports Winches # BDW20101 for your LT2000 and then it should work properly again.
