The CURT Trailer Hitch, # C13035, fits the 1985 - 1994 Chevrolet Astro Standard Body. It will also fit a 1998 Chevy Astro but if you have a 16 inch spare tire on the vehicle it will have to be relocated in order for the hitch to fit. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit, # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring on a 1998 Chevy Astro, use # 18252. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation.
If you are taking the hitch off of the 1994 model and putting it on the 1998 model, or the other way around, I do recommend getting all new hardware for the installation since a hitch is considered a permanent installation. To get the correct replacement hardware, you would need # RHK. Enter the hitch number and manufacturer in the spaces provided on the product page and click the add to cart button. The correct hardware will be assembled.
