What to Measure to Determine the Correct Tub and Shower Diverter Faucet

Question:

How do I start determining which one to buy? Are there measurements I need to make so I make sure to get the right replacement?

If you are replacing your tub and shower diverter faucet you need to measure the center-to-center length of your connections as well as know what type you have.

For example if you take a look at the accompanying photo you can see the Ultra Faucets Single Handle Tub and Shower Diverter # 277-000024 measures 4" center to center and has 1/2" male NPSM connectors.

You will also need to know the size of faucet you need to ensure it is big enough to cover the hole left by your current faucet; the Ultra Faucets # 277-000024 I referenced is 6" wide and 2" tall.

I have added a link to each of our tub and shower diverter faucets for you to check out or you can get back to me with the measurements you need and I can make some recommendations for you.
