How to Activate 12 Volt Accessory Circuit of 7-Way to Use Prodigy RF Brake Controller

Question:

I have a 2012 coachmen freelander class c chevy 4500. It came with a 7 pin plug. I bought a tester and all lights work at the plug, signals, brake lights, back up lights. But the 12v pin is dead.Never have towed a trailer so I have no brake controller. Was thinking of the wireless brake controller but with out 12v to the pin it will be inoperable as I understand. Is there possibly a fuse missing that would allow 12v to the pin? Thank You

To use the Prodigy RF brake controller part # TK94FR the 7-way has to have an active 12 volt accessory circuit. The easiest way to activate it is to run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 through a breaker from the pin on your 7-way to the positive post on the battery.
