Out of the available front mount hitches that fit your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 I recommend the Draw-Tite # 65064. In all honesty it has the same weight ratings as the Curt # C31069 but it is a little more popular and has more reviews.
Either one will be a great choice for you so if you are more loyal to Curt over Draw-Tite you would still be getting a great product. If you plan on doing the installation yourself you may want to take a look at the linked instructions for both options as that may help you determine if one would be easier for you to install.
