Can Blaylock EZ Jack and Wheel Chock Harm Trailer Tires or Suspension

Question:

Hello, I have been seeing opinions that these type of drive up ramps put too much stress on your axle and tire that you drive up on for torsion and leaf spring axles and that you could damage the good tire or suspension. Is there any truth in this or a minimal worry vs jacking with a bottle jack?

None of our experience with wheel chocks like the Blaylock EZ Jack and Wheel Chock # EZ-JACK suggests that they present any risk of damage to a trailer tire or suspension. I suppose if someone drove up on theEZ-JACK and did not have the tire centered properly this would place more weight on only a part of the tire tread; naturally this would not be good but unless the tire already had an issue (incorrect inflation, excessive tread wear, etc) there should not be any negative results.

Bottle jacks like Powerbuilt # ALL640405 can certainly be used for more different applications other than changing a tire but for convenience and easier on-the-roadside tire changes the EZ Jack is a good option. It can also serve to level a parked trailer that is on uneven ground.
