Recommended Jack for Changing Tire on 8,200 Pound Tandem Axle Trailer

I need a jack for my Vanguard tandem trailer with a 27 foot cobalt boat on it in case I geta flat tire. The boat and trailer combined weight is 8200lbs.Would this jack be sufficient or would I need something heavier?

This is likely enough for your 8,200 pound trailer, but I recommend going up a bit with the Unijack # ALL620471 that is rated for 6,000 pounds. This will give you more of a safety margin for jacking up the trailer to change a tire. This bottle jack features a lift range of 11 to 21 inches and the safety bar locks the jack into place removing the need for jack stands.
