How wide and long are the spring seats on a 3500lb axle

I have added a cutout of the dimensions of the Spring Seat for Typical 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles with 2-3/8" Diameter # TRSS238 for you to check out.

The spring seat, which works with 1-3/4" or 2" wide springs is 4" long, 1-7/8" wide, and 1-1/4" tall as you can see in the photo.

The bend in an axle (the top of the arch) should be at the top of the axle so that as the trailer load is placed on the axle it flattens out. The spring seats #TRSS238 should be welded to the underside as shown in the linked diagram.
