Replacing 235/75R15 Tires on a Forest River R-Pod

I read your response to that last person that asked this question. Not sure how old this question is. Is your answer still to go to a 225x75 R15 tire? I dont want to give up that .5 inch in height.

Yes, the answer remains the same for replacing 235/75R15 tires on your Forest River R-Pod, which will be to go with 225/75R15 tires that are 8.9" wide and 28.3" in diameter, which is a 1/2" less in diameter than the 235/75R15 tires.

As I previously mentioned you do have quite a few options depending on the load range you need, which does need to meet or exceed your trailer's GVWR.

For a 225/75R15 load range C tire with a maximum load capacity of 2,150 lbs at 50 psi there is the Karrier # AM10251.

Your options for a 225/75R15 tire in load range D, which has a maximum load capacity of 2,540 lbs at 65 psi are the Provider # TTWTRTM2257515D or Karrier # AM10256.

For a load range D tire with a maximum load capacity of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi, your options are the Westlake # LHWL304, Provider # TR225LRE or Karrier # AM10303.
