Fascia Trimming When Installing Curt Front Mount Hitch # C31018 On 2015 Ford F-350

Do you have any suggestions for making the cut out on the air dam without cutting complete from the bottom, but instead leaving that edge intact and only making a square hole for the receiver?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31018 is confirmed to fit your 2015 Ford F-350 if you have the 4WD model. The hitch center section can be installed in either a raised or lowered position. If you mount it in the lowered position, the receiver will rest below the front fascia and won't require any trimming or modification. If you want to mount it in the raised position, this will require that a section of fascia be removed for the receiver to protrude through.
If you plan on mounting the hitch in this manner, I recommend simply holding the center section in position as if ready to install and marking the area where the receiver tube will go through the fascia. You can then cut a square opening, leaving the bottom edge intact, by using a rotary tool or jigsaw.
