Fan-Tastic Vent Rain Sensor Light Stays On All the Time
Question:
We have a remote for the fan-tastic vent w/rain sensor in our retro camper. We have no manual, and noticed a red led light on the fan. The remote light by rain sensor on the remote is off. What is red light for and how do you turn it off or does it stay on all the time?How do you activate rain sensor?

The rain sensor doesn't have to be activated. When it gets wet it will automatically close the vent lid. When it dries it opens back up. But it sounds like yours has a short that is causing that light to stay on all the time. In order to get the replacement rain sensor you would need upgrade kit # FV803358 which includes the sensor.
