Replacement Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2011 Ford Escape
Question:
Installed a Curt Kit 56067 onmy 2011 Ford Escape about 5 years ago. Have not used the trailer outlet for over a year,no power to any of the 3 pins on the flat connecter. Checked ALL wiring, connecters on taillamps etc,all OK.Power is being fed to converter, nothing out. Power from each taillamp is reaching converter when lamp is activated. The 2 face tape provided to secure the adapter had failed,am assuming thiswas part of the reason for the failure moisture.. Would youplease consider selling me the converter intended for a 566329 kit???? If Hope you can helpme out.Cheers

You have adequately troubleshooted your trailer wiring harness to know that it is damaged and in need of replacing. Since the Curt converter boxes are known for shorting out easier I'd recommend you replace it with the part # 118551 which has a reputation as being more reliable.
We don't have just the converter box available separately though.
