How Many V-Wing Bolster Brackets Should Be Used When My Bunks are 132 Inches

I purchased your V-Wing bunk brackets. The length of my bunks are 132”. Can I space these these 66” apart using 2x6 for bunk boards or is that too much of a span? My pontoons are only 11feet long, so I would have 3 brackets for that length. It seems like having 5 brackets 33” apart is overkill.

I reached out to my contact at CE Smith, they are advising you to use one of the V-Wing bunk brackets # CE26244G on the back in the middle and one on the other end. Three brackets on each board.

The distance from the base to the bottom of the "V" on the CE Smith V-Wing Bolster Bracket part #CE26244G is 2-1/4". I have attached a photo of this measurement for you as well.

I checked with CE Smith and they informed me that the larger holes on the bracket that connect to the bunks and the larger holes are .410 of an inch and the smaller holes are .313 of an inch. Check out the picture I attached for more dimensions.
